Q. Do we have to set up an appointment?
A. We do take walk in but we would highly recommend for you to set up an appointment so you won’t have to wait for your turn. Please call before you come in and please don’t be late because if you’re late than that’s mean we have to delay other customers. If you know you’re going to be late or cannot make it please let us know. Thank you.

Q. What are the benefits of window tint?

Q. What exactly is auto glass film?
A. Vehicle film is a thin layer of material that comes in a number of types and shades. This is the film that is fit to match your windows during the tinting process.

Q. My windows were just tinted and they look a little hazy. What went wrong?
A. Most likely nothing is wrong. There may be water under the film and it usually takes several days for all of it to evaporate. This is what causes the hazy look. They look good after several days.

Q. My tint is new but it has tiny bubbles.
If the window tinting has a few hours of installation, could be that it has water pockets and it usually takes several days for all of it to evaporate.

Q. Is window tinting perfect?
Window tinting is not perfect due to contamination in the air. Dust particles become trapped in the film or glass immediately after is cleaned thus perfection can’t happen. The only way to get it perfect is if you buy the glass with color from manufacture. Every window tinting can be improved but it will never be perfect. But we always try to do perfect jobs.

Q. Will I be able to roll my windows down immediately after getting my vehicle’s glass tinted?
A. We recommend that you keep your windows rolled up for at least three days after your visit. That way, your tint should have dried thoroughly. Rolling your vehicle’s glass up and down could damage the tint before the three-day period is up.

Q. How long does it take to have tint installed?
Full size sedan should take no longer than 2-3 hours and for 2 front of an SUV should take no longer than 45 min. If possible we would recommend leaving your vehicle for most of the day for us to take our time to do the installation and make it right.

Q. What tint levels do you offer and are there any laws against the darker shades?
A. We offer shades from 5% to 70% depending on series of film

Q. How much does car window tinting cost?
A. Pricing is based on the number of windows, size of the windows and tint level. Tinting can run from $99-400 or more depending on the specs.
Q. Anything potential customers should know before getting their windows tinted?
A. First, get familiar with different types of window tinting

Third, remember that tinting needs maintenance.

Q. I see a lot of bubbles on the windows. Will it go away?
A. Yes, they will go away. During the installation we spray soap/water to push the bubbles out and we do our best to push all the water out as much as possible. Some will still be trap in between the film and glass but it will go away. Please don’t roll down your windows for 4 days.

Q. Can you have window tinting applied to your windows in wet or cold weather?
A. Yes, it is possible to have your car windows tinted even in freezing weather. However, the curing time may be extended in adverse conditions.

Q. What causes window tinting to bubble?
A. UV rays from the sun that are responsible for damaging your car’s interior and excessive heat build-up are usually the cause of bubbles forming in the window tint. The bubbles are a result of a failure in the adhesive system. Protect yourself from this potential problem by purchasing a high quality window tint material. The major window tint manufacturers, in their high performance and metal window tints, have a high temperature adhesive system and 99% of UV protection capabilities.

Q. How do dots matrix and lines at the edge of a window on newer cars affect window tinting?
A. The dots matrix patters, as well as the lines at the top of some windows are made of a Teflon type of material that is applied at the factory. Purely cosmetic, they hide trim lines and edges on different styles of autos. The thicknesses of these Teflon type areas make them a nightmare when applying window tint. Window tint is designed to adhere directly to the glass. The black lines across the top of some windows can prevent window tint from sticking and cannot be covered. When black dots are encountered, the window tint sticks to the slightly raised dot. This can give, depending on the thickness of the material, a lighter or different look in the area of the black matrix dots. This poses no risk of peeling. In some cases, the dot pattern or lines usually put at the top of some windows are so thick that it makes it impossible for the tint to stick at all.

Q. After the window is tinted…I see little tiny bubbles scattered on the glass. Will they go away?
A. Yes, unfortunately, most tint shops are not work areas that are sealed in a vacuum (vacuum-sealed: a space relatively empty of matter) so one will have tiny air particles caught onto the film. However, as the film cures, usually after a hot summer, it will tighten up around these sports and they will become even smaller and less noticeable.

Q. Why do I see bubbled or purple tint on cars?
A. Using Wnidex Products, Etc.(Ammonia) to clean inside tinted window, the tint is either very old or of poor quality. If our tint ever bubbles, we will replace it at no additional cost to you.

Q. Will you come to my location?
A. No, because a good tint job requires good lighting and a clean enclosed environment.

Q. Can the window tint be scratched?
A. There is a scratch resistant coating on the film. However, the film can be scratched or punctured with keys, watches, rings, safety belt buckles, etc. Scratches caused by user neglect are not covered by warranty. Take care when unbuckling your seat belt.

Q. Does the tint go on the outside or inside?
A. Professional window tinting is done this way: First, the film is laid on the outside of the car’s windows, and cut out to fit. Then the cut out pieces are usually placed on a large piece of glass and trimmed before being installed on the inside of the windows.
